Submission Procedures

  1. Abstract submission is accepted only via the Online Abstract Registration System from our Website.
  2. Click on “New abstract registration”.
  3. Follow the instructions on the Online Abstract Submission screen and fill in the required fields and abstract. You can check your text from the Real time preview when inputting your text.
  4. Clink on [Contents Check] after finish filling all the fields to re-confirm the contents before sending.
  5. After submitted your abstract, an automatically generated confirming mail which contents a Password will be sent to you. You will need this password to login to your registered page for any modification or confirmation. Please keep the password properly.

Confirmation and Modification

  1. Abstracts can be modified before the deadline of the submission period.
  2. Click on the “Confirmation/Modification” and input your password to login in to your registered page.
  3. No amendments/modifications will be allowed after the closed of the submission period, hence please check your contents properly before registering it.

Length of the Title, Profile and Abstract

【Title】Up to 120 characters (including spaces)
【Profile】Up to 1500 characters (including spaces)
【Abstract】Up to 3000 characters (including spaces)


Submitted abstracts will not be edited or proof-read before printing. The first/presenting author is responsible for his/her abstract.
Special characters, table, charts or graphs are not accepted.

Disclosure of Conflict of Interest (COI)

The Japanese Society of Mitochondrial Research and Medicine requires the first author of presentations given at the Conference to disclose any conflicts of interest they may have.

  • Oral presenter : include the slide on conflicts of interest as the first of your presentation slides.
  • Poster presenter: include the slide on conflicts of interest at the bottom of your poster.
